Why we made Stretch My Pension
Every winter brings news of pensioners forced to choose between heating and eating. Prices for energy, food and local taxes have risen faster than many pensions, and it's older people on fixed incomes who feel it most.
We can't change prices, but we can make it easier to see where your money goes, to put warmth and food first, and to find help you might be missing. And we think there should still be room for joy: a lunch out, a day at the seaside, a present for the grandchildren. With a little planning, there often is.
